Tamika R. Duroncelay is a Senior Consultant responsible for providing targeted support for on-site coaching of Instructional Leadership Teams, delivery of leadership development sessions to school and leaders, school data reviews, and design and facilitation work supporting the development of leader pipeline, and evaluation tools. She also assists with educator effectiveness, data analysis student learning, professional development and coordination, and leadership initiatives.

Prior to becoming a Senior Consultant with The ISG Group, Tamika served as an Assistant Principal at one of the highest performing schools in the New Orleans Charter sector.

Tamika’s passion for education has allowed her to effectively serve in multiple capacities within multiple school sites and Network Offices, in Baltimore, and New Orleans.

Titles she has previously held include: Teacher, Reading Specialist, Testing Coordinator, Grade Team Lead Teacher, ELA Chairperson, Division Head, Assistant Principal, Director of Teaching and Learning, Academic and Cultural Dean, and Professional Development Presenter and Planner.

 

Tamika was born and raised in, Antioch, California (Bay Area). She is a certified Teacher and Reading Specialist earning her master’s degree from Towson University. She has done great work, teaching, supporting and coaching teachers, leadership development, and public speaking. She enjoys reading articles about education, traveling with family, dancing to all genres of music, photography and kids.
